Zero calories.
Still tastes like apple.
The whole panel reads zero — 0 kilojoules, 0 grams of sugar, 0 grams of fat. What is left is carbonated water, a small amount of erythritol, citric acid and apple flavour. Eight ingredients, and no added colour anywhere on the list.
Crisp, not confected.
Apple is the hardest of the three to get right. Apple flavour turns sickly the moment it is over-sweetened — it stops reading as fruit and starts reading as lolly.
CLOOP keeps the bulk sweetener deliberately low here: 0.75 g of erythritol a can, a fifth of what goes into the Grape. The citric acid does more of the work instead, so it finishes dry rather than syrupy.
It also carries the most sodium of the three at 20 mg a can — still under 1% of a day's intake, but enough to round the edges and keep it tasting like cold apple rather than apple cordial.

There is not much to read.
Most product pages bury the numbers. On a zero-sugar soft drink there are only four worth knowing, so here they are at the top.

Energy, sugars and sodium are from the Australian label. The bulk-sweetener quantity is from the manufacturer's specification sheet. Sodium at 20 mg is under 1% of an adult's daily intake.
One slim 250 mL can.
A single can, not a multipack. The slim 250 mL format is deliberate — it is a drink you finish rather than a bottle that goes flat in the fridge door.
The liquid is clear. There is no added colour on the ingredient list, so it pours like sparkling water and tastes like red apple.
Nothing is declared as an allergen. It is made in a facility that also handles milk, soy, peanuts, wheat and tree nuts, so the precautionary statement covers those.
Product of South Korea, manufactured by OKF Corporation in Andong-si. Buying more than one? The 6-pack works out at $1.67 a can.
The moments a soft drink was going to happen anyway.
With dinner
Takeaway, pizza, Korean fried chicken. The slot a full-sugar can usually fills, minus 30 grams of sugar.
The 3pm slump
Cold, sharp and fizzy, with no caffeine on the list — so it does not follow you into the evening.
In the fridge door
Slim cans stack where bottles do not. One is a serve; there is no half-flat leftover to deal with.
It is a soft drink, not a health drink. Zero sugar and zero kilojoules is the whole claim — nothing here is doing anything for you beyond replacing what you were going to drink instead.
Against the things you would actually reach for.
A full-sugar soft drink
A 250 mL can of regular fruit soda carries somewhere around 25–30 g of sugar and 450–500 kJ. This one carries 0 g and 0 kJ. That is the entire proposition, and it is the only comparison most people are actually making.
Zero cola
Cheaper and everywhere, and if cola is what you want, buy cola. CLOOP is fruit — no caffeine, no caramel, no colour on the list — which makes it a different drink for a different moment rather than a substitute.
Sparkling water
Cheapest of all, and genuinely nothing in it. The honest case for CLOOP over soda water is that plain bubbles do not stop a craving, and a 250 mL can with actual fruit flavour usually does.
Sugar and energy figures for full-sugar soft drinks are a general market range, not a measurement of a specific competitor — check the panel on whatever you are comparing.
Three flavours, three different recipes.
They are not the same liquid with different flavouring dropped in. The bulk sweetener changes across the range, and that is what changes the mouthfeel.
Red Apple — erythritol 0.75 g. The driest and most acidic; tastes closest to cold, tart apple.
Orange — allulose 0.5 g. The shortest ingredient list, and no erythritol chill on the finish.
Grape — erythritol 3.75 g plus resistant maltodextrin. The fullest-bodied, and the only one with fibre in it.
Same price, same 0 kJ, same 250 mL can. Try the Orange or the Grape.
Bulk-sweetener quantities are per 250 mL can, from the manufacturer's specification sheets.
Singles are $2.00. Six-packs are $1.67 a can.
Questions answered.
Is it really zero calories?
Yes — the Australian label declares 0 kJ per serve and per 100 mL, along with 0 g of sugars, 0 g of fat and 0 g of protein. There is no sugar in the can. Sweetness comes from erythritol plus sucralose and acesulfame potassium, none of which the panel counts as energy.
What sweeteners are in it?
Erythritol as the bulk sweetener — 0.75 g a can from the manufacturer's specification — finished with sucralose (955) and acesulfame potassium (950). All three are approved for use in Australia and appear on the label by name and code.
Does it have caffeine?
No. There is no caffeine on the ingredient list — it is a fruit soda, not a cola or an energy drink. Fine in the afternoon, fine in the evening.
Is there any colouring in it?
No added colour appears on the ingredient list. The can is a full-wrap print; the liquid inside is clear. If you are expecting purple grape soda or bright orange, that is not what pours out.
How does it compare to the other two flavours?
Same 250 mL can, same 0 kJ, same $2.00. The recipes differ in the bulk sweetener. Orange is the lightest and driest of the three; Grape is the fullest-bodied of the three. This one is the one that tastes closest to a cold, tart apple.
Does it contain allergens?
Nothing is declared. It is made in a facility that also handles milk, soy, peanuts, wheat and tree nuts (and buckwheat, peach, tomato, walnut and pine nut), so the precautionary statement covers those. If you react to trace exposure, that is the line to read.
Should it be refrigerated?
Not until you want it cold. Store the cans somewhere cool and dry out of direct sunlight; chill before drinking, and finish an opened can promptly. The best before date is printed on the can itself.
