Does it actually taste like maple?
Mild, smooth, subtly sweet, not breakfast-pancake maple. More natural than artificial gels. Most athletes love the clean profile.
Is 27g carbs enough for long events?
Rule of thumb: 30 to 60g carbs per hour during endurance. One gel = 27g, so one every 30 to 45 min is ideal. Pair with water.
Why no caffeine?
Intentional. Lets you choose your own caffeine strategy. Also usable for evening training without disturbing sleep.
