Does Tuk-Dak contain preservatives?
No chemical preservatives or artificial additives are used. Tuk-Dak stays safe due to high-temperature sterilisation at 115ยฐC under pressure, similar to canned tuna. Food spoils due to bacteria and air, not because of preservatives.

Why does the chicken sometimes appear pink or red?
This is called the pinking phenomenon. Even though the chicken is fully cooked, myoglobin in the meat can cause a pink or reddish hue. This is normal and safe to eat.
